Your prize. Your choice.

Small price, big possibilities. Mystery packs from $1 to $50, clear odds, and prize IOUs you can redeem for shipping.

  1. Choose a theme and edition

Thirty-one themes. Budget, Mid, and Premium editions map to $1, $10, and $50 catalog packs. Every price level still exists: $1, $2.50, $5, $10, $20, and $50.

  2. Open with wallet balance

Add cash with Shopify. A signed-in open spends that server balance and saves a prize IOU. Signed-out opens are a reveal only — they are never saved.

  3. Keep, sell, or ship

Keep the IOU, sell it for 100% of expected prize value back into cash balance, or redeem it for shipping. Redeeming creates one Shopify fulfillment order for that prize.

Shipping

Base shipping is $20 per shipment, plus handling: standard $0, large $10, bulky $30, freight $80. If Snag cannot source a prize, collected shipping is refunded to the same wallet.

Refunds

Shopify refunds reverse unused wallet credit. Spent pack opens are not cashable. Denied fulfillments refund shipping once. Selling a prize is an expected prize value credit, not a payment refund. Balance is not a bank payout.

Creators and merchants

Creators publish at /@handle. The pack engine keeps expected value between 70% and 90% of price. Creators earn 5% of each paid open, held 5 days so refunds can reverse. Merchants embed the same engine in a Shopify app; the default application fee is 5%.

FAQ

What is Snag?

Snag is a U.S. consumer storefront at snag.city, operated by Higher LLC. You add cash with Shopify, open a themed mystery pack, and receive a prize IOU — an obligation to source that item. Redeem it for shipping or sell it for 100% of expected prize value back into wallet balance.

How much do packs cost?

Catalog packs are $1, $2.50, $5, $10, $20, and $50. The Packs browser groups those as Budget $1, Mid $10, and Premium $50 editions per theme. Expected prize values describe the catalog prize; they are not live retail quotes.

What are the odds?

Every pack publishes four tiers: Everyday, Little upgrade, Big find, and Dream prize. A Budget $1 pack is about 97% Everyday, 2.5% Little upgrade, 0.45% Big find, and 0.05% Dream. Higher prices raise the chance of upgrades. Expected prize value is locked near 70–90% of the pack price. Exact numbers live on /odds and each pack page.

How does shipping work?

Redeeming a prize IOU creates a Shopify fulfillment order. Standard shipping is a $20 base fee plus handling by class: standard $0, large $10, bulky $30, freight $80. Fees are illustrative U.S. demo amounts, not live carrier quotes. If ops cannot source a prize, collected shipping is refunded to the same wallet.

Can I get a refund?

A Shopify refund or cancellation reverses unused wallet credit from that order. Pack opens already spent are not cashable. If a prize cannot be sourced, shipping charged for that redemption is refunded once. Selling a prize returns 100% of its expected prize value to balance — that is not a payment refund. Balance is for packs and shipping, not a bank payout.

How do creator packs work?

Signed-in creators publish a public storefront at /@handle. They pick catalog products; Snag’s pack engine sets the price and odds so expected value stays between 70% and 90% of price. Creators earn 5% of each paid open as Snag credit, held about 5 days so refunds can reverse. Opens they make themselves do not pay.

How do merchant packs work?

Shopify merchants install the Snag app, pick products from their catalog, and embed a mystery pack on their theme. The same engine sets price and odds. Merchants cannot publish a mix that is expected to lose money. Snag’s default application fee is 5%.
